The summer hot dog season is approaching and the Wall Street Journal features an article about the search for the perfect dog in Boston, NYC, Chicago and Los Angeles.  While he didn't have the most comprehensive search, you may be surprised by his favorite wiener choice.

A half-pound hot dog as the ultimate top dog?  Very out-there choice, as most aficionados tend to dismiss such super-sized dogs on lack-of-balance grounds.  But who knows?  We won't knock it till we've tried it.  That marinating and grilling has potential.  Stephen, as a local, have you been there yet?

I haven't been because I tend to stay away from the larger dogs, but it looks like I will need to make a trip downtown once the weather warms up.
