The weekly Santa Fe Reporter surveys the area for extra-special ways to cool down with a cold dessert.  We especially like the sounds of the apple cider sno-cones available at the Santa Fe Farmers Market, an affogato (vanilla gelato topped with a fresh shot of espresso) at Torino's, and, at Roadfood favorite Cafe Pasqual's (see Michael Stern's Roadfood.com review), the espresso milkshake, watermelon granita, and (oh!) roasted pineapple ice cream.  Read the full article here.

Those items from Cafe Pasqual's may sound a little unusual, but I have full confidence that anything that comes out of that kitchen is top notch! Okay, that roasted pineapple ice cream does sound good.....
