We reported earlier that Garrett Popcorn's flagship store on North Michigan in Chicago was closing on 5/31 to make way for development.  Well, the landlord granted them a last-minute temporary stay.  For how long, we don't know, but the bottom line is: they are still open and bagging up their delectable CaramelCrisp.  The company says that, in the meantime, they are actively looking for another location on Michigan Ave.

In other Garrett news, there will be three new shops opening this summer: two in O'Hare, and one in New York at Rockefeller Center.  For more info, see this Chicago Sun-Times article.
