Jane and Michael Stern's visit with Lynne Rossetto Kasper on The Splendid Table this weekend focuses on the fine coffee and pastries of Crema, a coffeehouse in Portland, OR.  If you can't catch the show on radio you can listen to it online.

Thank you for the kind words Jane and Michael. Crema is a fine place with excellent pastries and first rate coffee and the city of portland is filled with classic coffeehouses. The Crema neighborhood isfilled with great restaurants. Esparza's Tex-Mex is across the street, Ken's Artisan pizza is 3 blocks away, Stacatto Gelato is just down the street and Gourmet gulch with upscale Mexican and Chinese is 3 blocks away. The neighborhood is called Buckman-Kerns by the way. I used to live there.
