Soda, sandwiches both have regional descriptors, but did you know shaved ice varies from around the country?  Chow.com has an column this week highlighting “Ten frozen concoctions to help you chill out.”  My favorite is the Snow-Ball, which is often found in the south and made famous at Hansen’s Sno-Bliz in New Orleans.

Baltimore is famous for its snowballs. The number one flavor is egg custard. It tastes great with marshmallow on top and a scoop of ice cream on the bottom. Check out Koldkiss.com for all the snowball flavors that Baltimoreans love!
