Hansen’s Sno-Bliz, the legendary New Orleans sno-ball shop, was robbed for the first time in its 69-year history early Friday evening, 6/27.  Ashley Hansen, owner of the store and granddaughter of the founders, was serving the final customer of the evening when he pointed a gun at her and demanded money.  No one was hurt.  Read Brett Anderson’s story in The Times-Picayune, and see Sheldon Fox’s video report on ABC26.

See Stephen Rushmore Jr.’s review of Hansen’s for Roadfood.com.

It's a shame such cowardly acts can happen to such nice people. Times must be getting tough in New Orleans for someone to stoop so low.
