Tour a 100-acre research farm and sample the newest in cherry products; visit the cherry pie booth and brat tent; enjoy a cherry sundae at the ice cream social; compete in the grilling contest where salmon, ribs, and burgers must be prepared using cherries; attend the Cherries Grand Buffet at the historic Opera House.  These are just some of the events scheduled for the National Cherry Festival, which started  last Saturday and continues through this Saturday.
