Boccalone-cups

Among the cornucopia of good places to get food in San Francisco's Ferry Building is Boccalone (www.boccalone.com), which advertises its product as "tasty salted pig parts." That means cured and cooked salamis and sausages of all kinds. If you know which you like, that's swell (and even better because there is an Acme bakery on site, as well as Cowgirl Cheese and even some wine shops), but if your tongue is dilettantish, Boccalone offers a cone full of different house-made salamis for sampling. Among those in my cone were capocollo, soppressata, and translucent white one made of salt-cured pork jowl.
