Wiscasset’s annual Fourth of July parade awards winners in several categories, and a float that was a replica of Red’s Eats was awarded the trophy for best float this year, according to a story by Greg Foster in The Lincoln County News.  In the category called “other,” Red’s Eats entered the 1975 Cadillac convertible owned by the late Al Gagnon, who passed away earlier this year and was the owner of Red’s Eats.  The Cadillac won 3rd place!  Now that sounds like our kind of Fourth parade.

Pictured above is the trophy-winning float.  No, of course, that’s actually a photo of Red’s Eats, of Wiscasset, ME, from the Roadfood.com review.
