A Squeeze Inn burger comes dressed in a skirt, providing a crusty, crispy, chewy, cheesy chaw to nibble through as you channel your way to the one-third pound burger at the epicenter.  Jane and Michael Stern tell Lynne Rossetto Kasper all about it to open this weekend’s episode of The Splendid Table on public radio.  If you can’t catch the show this weekend you can hear it online.

That’s Erika & Jon’s photo of a Squeezeburger, from their Roadfood.com review.

Reminds me a little bit of the fried cheese crown the burgers come with at Shady Glen in Connecticut.

Indeed. I've never any other place do a cheeseburger like Shady Glen's. Well, now I have.
