Seattle arts and Lectures along with Tom Douglas Restaurants are bringing Jane and me to Seattle on Monday March 11 & 12, 2010. We welcome the opportunity to greet old Roadfood friends and to meet new ones while we are there. On Monday, January 11, 2010, there’s a dinner with wine and conversation at Tom Douglas Palace Ballroom, and the next evening we will be giving a Roadfood presentation that includes Q&A with the audience. During Monday’s dinner, raffle tickets can be purchased for a Weber Summit S-670 Gas Grill. Seattle Arts & Lectures has created a special price that includes both the Monday dinner and Tuesday night’s presentation. To buy tickets or for further information, call SAL at 206.621.2230 or visit www.lectures.org. Please, come join us!

While you're in Seattle, or when you return, don't miss the Olympic Peninsula (particularly eastern Jefferson County).  We have the blue plate type Chimacum Cafe (great, great pies), the Spruce Goose cafe at the airport (great breakfasts), and many good to excellent restaurants in Port Townsend.  Plus beautiful scenery & the "banana belt" over this way gives us pretty darn good weather compared to the rest of the country.
Keep on eatin.
