Top Pot Still Tops

Top Pot Collage

Having praised the living daylights out of Top Pot the last time I visited Seattle, it was imperative that I return for a re-taste to make sure my kudos were justified. The urgency of the situation was due to the fact that my last several experiences with the Top Pot brand were at various Starbuck's, which sell what are labeled Top Pot donuts. Maybe they are, but the too-old sinkers Starbuck’s sells bear little resemblance to the big, cakey pastries I had during a quick pre-dawn visit yesterday. Pictured above are a double-chocolate “double trouble” and a maple-frosted chocolate. As good as ever!

Top Pot donut stores are a highlight of any Seattle culinary tour.
